Currently, only first floor of the guesthouse is complete. A large part of the funding for this project was provided by Raghvendra Paturi and Samit Bhattacharya, both of whom stay in the United States. Raghvendra Paturi had visited Kuru Om Vidyalaya in January 2010, and had decided to fund the guesthouse.

The land for the guesthouse was donated by the family of Sri Deo Prasad Singh who along with his family performed the yagna and puja to formally inaugurate the guesthouse.

Rooms are named after the donors, Raghvendra Paturi and Samit Bhattacharya, as Raghvendra and Samit rooms. Raghvendra Paturi of Denver, Colorado, and Samit Bhattacharya of Groton, Connecticut, donated substantial amounts of funds for the guesthouse.
